My Loved One Has Alzheimer’s Disease: How to be Legally and Financially Prepared
This presentation will guide participants through the range of options available when planning for a loved one’s future. Attorney Hope will discuss essential legal documents that need to be in place to assure a loved one’s wishes are honored when he or she can no longer communicate. He will also outline the practical steps to assure that estate planning meets the unique needs of the family. In addition, participants will learn about expanded eligibility for free home care benefits for persons with Alzheimer’s disease through MassHealth/Medicaid’s Home and Community Based Services Waiver.
